Santa Monica Activities -- The Getty Villa

When traveling to Santa Monica you won’t want to miss out on seeing the Getty Villa, which is a short and beautiful drive up the coast from Santa Monica.


At the Getty Villa the scenery is enough to keep your eyes busy, but you’ll also see:
Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities arranged by themes including Gods and Goddesses, Dionysos and the Theater, and Stories of the Trojan War, plus Roman-inspired architecture and gardens.

The Getty Villa and all of the exhibits are free, (reservations are recommended). You can park at the Getty Villa, but it is $15.00, your best bet would be to take the metro (www.metro.net ) bus #534

The Getty Villa is opened from 10:00am-5:00pm Wednesday – Monday, it is closed on Tuesday and on major holidays.
